Got a bunch of small stuff done yesterday. Ready to hoist and install today,
But ended up having to make 2 trips to town yesterday, the first planned trip
went as planned, got home and Matt was cleaning up the starter to get it ready
to reinstall and discovered the following... So back up to town for a new starter
got a new bypass hose and serpentine belt at the same time, might as well...

Oooooooooh, not good! Years ago I had a '79 Dodge Magnum with a 318 that ate up starters on a regular basis. I could plan on changing the starter at least once if not more times a year. Never could figure out the issue causing it but the windings in them just seemed to burn up.
