Used the welder today to weld up a battery box for the Allis. I'm still getting used to the DC welding. I have most always used AC, and DC at low amps is a new ball game for me. It definitely was much easier to run a 110 line out and carry the 16 lb than fight with the tombstone. I just need more practice.

Darn it. If I did more welding presently than I have been doing in the past I would be seriously thinking of getting one of them due to the dual voltage. What amp rating were you welding with it on the 110 voltage and what size and type of electrode were you using?

I was welding sheet metal with 3/32" @ 60 amps. It took a while to get the hang of it. I just need more practice.
