![]() From what I can tell the flywheel, starter, air filter housing, pressure switch, belt guard and some plumbing was all destroyed. Still a good start for $80. I was concerned about the conditions of the crankshaft so I checked for deformation. I discovered .016” at the end. I’m calling it tolerable.

The 5HP 3PH motor works. I discovered a loose connecting rod Just like the one I currently run used to have.
I’m not sure what I will do here as I could go one of several ways: 1. Restore to original using same 3PH motor. 2. Restore with 1PH motor. 3. Separate assembly and store parts. 4. Mount pump and motor to a stand alone base and plumb into existing system.

I'd be most concerned about the interior condition of the tank(reciever)and rusting of the metal internally..is there a drain valve on the bottom of the tank? this would lead us to believe that it had regular attention to condensate drainoff..#1 reason for compressed air tank explosions..
