Thanks for the birthday wishes.
 Starting to move stuff out of the shop side so I can do carpentry and electrical and insulation on that side. I've got two circuits left to wire on the house side but I left them for later because I'm not set on positions of fixtures just yet. Spray foam for the shop ceiling could be in 3-4 weeks.

Today's progress...
I got the idea to attach the insulation to the back side of the framing im putting up. Looks like it's going to work. I used those washer head roof nails to secure the insulation to the framing. The higher sections of walls I'll do the same way but have my framing 36" on center instead of 24"

One of the best ‘working’ shops I worked in years ago, the mills were lined up, on an angle, facing the wall. Along the wall was a heavy built workbench, it seems like it would be overkill, but it allowed storage for accessories, tooling etc.
Having them angled, allowed long parts to overhang and clear the other machines. It also kept the chips that got blown off generally missed the other machines. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
