You can move a lot of stuff with 3/4” pipe too. As long as you have a flat surface to roll on. Sweep the dirt away before rolling.
Heck, even 1/2” solid round stock will move a lot, and keep the load close to the ground. Sent from my iPhone using ShopFloorTalk

Been busy framing this weekend. I'm greatful I own a forklift. It's paid for itself already.
Started with the far end wall and worked on the upper level. Only went as far as the middle.

Next I went to the side wall. Started in the corner and worked out.
Also a picture of my set up to cut 21 2x4s all the same length. I.used some scrap pieces to make blocking to lift the wall sections into place. Each wall section is anchored to the purlin behind with L brackets. When finished there will be one L bracket every four feet. I never drew out any plans so I had to measure out the location of the window so my opening lined up.

Continuing on. The middle section I had to mesure out the location of the window so I got the opening lined up.
The last section for that wall was a tight fit. This weekend I plan to finish where the three upper windows are. Then the wall above the stairs. I'll frame the upper part completely by the stairs but will leave a ten foot wide by eight foot high opening just pass the stairs so I can still get the forklift in. I plan to use it to lift the sheets of sheetrock when the time comes. I plan to build a jig that will allow me to lift the sheets up for both the walls and cieling...if I still sheetrock the cieling and not use old roofing tin.

Lumber is currently on the reasonable side. Got 60 2x4x10s and 52 2x4x8s and two treated 2x4x8s and a new bathroom fan. The lumber set me back about $700 where a coupple months ago it was almost $1200. I'm glad I waited it out.
