This is a drive shaft off a tractor 1 1/8" dia. and four feet long without a carrier bearing. The splined end is 7/8" that goes threw the clutch plate into a bearing in the flywheel. It is 030" under size and the grooves you see are from the milling of the spline. I don't have a clutch plate to fit. What do we think is the best option is? weld it up and turn it down (hard to do with the splines)
turn the end down to 5/8" and make press on sleeve and turn to size drill and ream to 5/8" and press in a plug and turn to size I was told it runs a brush hog
