Well pump is 3/4hp and it starts it quickly. We don't heat water or air with electricity or cook with it, so the demands are mild. According to the watt meter, we burn 21kw in 24 hrs, and 28kw with the yard light on. 6kw per day for one light! One ancient 170 watt HP sodium light that has to get with the program or leave home.
