![]() I believe they’re still good, but reading in another thread recently, seems it would be good to hear them up slowly to drive out any moisture, otherwise they might explode? I am thinking about putting an ad on FB marketplace and see about selling them. Was wondering if it’s would be a viable product, and make sure they could be safe to use again. Was thinking about asking $1 a brick. Is this a good price? A quick search on line shows about $5- 12 buck a brick. Don’t know if I would have any interest, but would like to move some if someone could use them. I probably will never need as many as I got. I will save some of course, for future forge. You need to heat them up slowly when brand new anyway. It would just take longer to dry them out than when brand new.

I was in need of a few of these brick for a forge update. Ended up making my own with Aircrete, Pearlite and waterglass.

I haven't bought any for several years but I think brand new ones were less than $2 a piece through a local builders supply. I definitely didn't spend $5-12 on them. I went to a place that sells masonry products though that had them in pallets, I am sure if you look them up at a blacksmithing supply or some of the online stores like that they are marked up quite a bit, or have shipping built in.
You can probably get decent money out of them if you find the right idiot ![]()
