Default another of my jeep projects

This time, it is for me. Been working here and there off and on. getting more serious about it as I go. I'll try and update the thread as I make progress.

Preliminary specs for it are:
CJ7 fiberglass tub with a Jeep YJ Wrangler front clip
small block chevy/turbo 350/dana 300 transfer case
front Chevy 3/4 ton dana 44 (I narrowed it 8")
rear is a 9" Ford with GM 14 bolt full float ends

I guess that is enough of the Jeep techno babble. Morpheous and Bluesman will understand

tow points. 3/4 x 3 bar with 1" hole for d ring shackle attachment.

added a center hitch receiver. It goes through both sides of the bumper tube.

the beginning mock up of one of my suspension link arm pivots. 2" x 1/4"W tube, jeep spring bushing, 1-1/2" B7 threaded rod & nut. more details to come on these....

Stock TJ front and rear. I also have a set of XJ front coils.


front axle will be 2" BDS YJ leaf springs, spring over axle.
