Is your variable speed or do you have to change speeds like my mill drill ?

Mine is a belt drive, so change belts from pulley to pulley.

Yep mine is to. It will prolly temporarily go live elsewhere along with the welding table and two or three of my seven drill presses...
so I can make enough room for two mills and another lathe

although I am kicking around the idea of gathering enough steel to have another small building built something 20 by 20 just to house the machining equipment but outlook is some stuff will just have to live at a buddy's place indefinitely till I can ad on or build a separate building most likely smarter thing would be just to ad on..

Always good to keep machining equipment and welding and grinding tools away for machining equipment.

Weld smoke and grinding dust are hell on machine tools.
A friend over in Ohio bought a 40' high cube refrigerated sea can, had a bad cooling unit, used it for his shop and office until wife inherited her grandma's place. He was going to move it for storage, but the people who bought their old place wanted it left there.

I now have a forward/reverse switch which is real handy for power tapping. The neighbor Walter did all the wiring for me. Not my specialty. Tapped a couple 3/8-16 holes in the mounting plate. Works great. 33 more holes to tap.

Next add wire in the LED halo light so a blind guy can see what he is doing. Also gotta get a couple of the HF link belts to replace the bad ones on the mill.
