Default A/C machine

Well here we are again. Business is good but it won’t quite pay for a new machine in the credit limits vs time. So I’m looking for a used AC machine (r134a) that can recover, recycle and charge a system. Anyone have one?

I'd imagine this time of year to find one for sale and not in use would be slim to none. lol

I'm sure any around my side of the Dixie line are working overtime these days. Although I see there are some used machines for sale on Ebay but do not know if I'd want to go that route for used. I think I'd like to see it draw and weigh if that's what they still do. It's been a good 25 or so years since I've hooked one up.

Hope you find one suitable in your seeking's.

I would say Jef it correct much harder to find one this time of the year

It would be far easier to find a recovery machine an recovery tank....
plus far more cost effective if finances are tight we see them for sale on CL all the time...

I use to think it was beneficial to have a machine that did recover and recycle the but not so cost effective when you can just recover to tank and do a drop off an let the bigger companies worry about recycling the refrigerant and you just do a fresh recharge.

But that's just my opinion on it....

Sounds like you want an all in one. I have a vac pump, a recovery machine, a scale, a manifold, and hoses. Not as convenient, but probably not as hard to service.

Not to mention leak detectors, die injector, valve core service kit, adapters, vacuum gauge, etc.

I went to an auction a couple weeks prior to heading to AK and they had one. Looked all complete. Sold for $50. Only two guys bidding.
