Default Compressor Questions

I'm closely watching this compressor on Ebay.

If I win it can they be laid on their side for transport?

What do you think its worth? He has it listed on CL as well so I could possibly just go buy it.
The only thing is its from an autobody shop. That makes me wonder how much its been run.

Since it is a retirement sell, it may have not been used much, as most slow way down before actual retirement. Price is real good. This post is in relation to your first post. The 7.5 hp is the one I would choose.

Drain all the fluids, then lay it down.

$300 is a "You Suck" candidate.

It'd be sweet, but I doubt it will stay that low. Somebody will snipe it
I'm willing to go $600

Dan, I believe that Campbell Hausfeld is about 10 times the machine that the second one is.
Do you have the power to feed it?
If it's on craigslist local I'd go snap that baby up if it runs decently.

I paid $400 for a heavily used CH 3 phase that came out of a car wash ten years ago and it performed very well.
I did wind up replacing the pump with a new Ingersoll about 5 years later but the only reason I did was because the new pump was free.

You might do best to make a deal on the Craigslist ad. (IMO)
