Default Bird feeder hangar

The boss wanted a hangar of some sort to hang feeders for Baltimore Orioles and Hummingbirds from our deck, and was going to buy something. I knew we had a couple of old plant hangars in the resource pile, so I repurposed them and made one hangar from two. I also made up a base for the new hangar stand to slip into, rattle can painted the whole mess and lagged it to the deck.
I think the project turned out okay, and even better, this half day job only took me three days to finish...............blinding speed for me .
No idea why pics 1 and 5 are sideways; they are vertical on my confuser and I don't know how to flip them.

Nice. I've got a few teeth from one of the old horse drawn dump rakes that are going to become plant hangers some day...

Very nice. I wouldn't mind having one myself but first, I'd have to build the deck. A place I used to work at used channel like that in production of something or other. When they discontinued the item, I liberated a bunch of it from the scrap pile. Very handy stuff.

I remember seeing a very unfortunate squirrel caught in the Y of a hanger like that by his testies.
