[QUOTE=allessence;798047]So I picked this non working Davis taskforce 200..
I always wanted a mini dozer and the price of 950.00 seemed reasonable. the guy swore he had it running few years back.. Well not knowing anything about them and without knowing ahead of time parts availability and such I figured that it's mainly a fabricated unit, that I could fix what was wrong vs having to buy factory parts.. It's a single cylinder Wisconsin 12.5HP with electric start. The drive unit is a Funk.. The unit is hydraulically driven and has a low and high range. It's also dual control.. Meaning from the ground walking behind it or from the seat which can also be from 2 positions forwards and backwards.. So the first thing was to figure out why it was not running.. Pulled the carb and it looked like brand new inside.[/QUO Looks like a Struck.
