Not bad. Used them for almost 50 years, and then triple your money on them. And for that price, they were still considered a deal for the new owners.

I have two, One bought new way back in 1954/5 for the outrageous price of about $85.00 (think about how much an engineers assistant made in those days) :-) When I came back from the Air Force in Dec 53. The other I paid $25.00 for about 30 years ago. I used them for my machinist tools, mikes lathe bits squares etc.
...lew... I suppose these will be up for sale one of these days when I go to that big machine shop in the sky. :-)

I had a couple 25 years ago then I bought a cheap tin roller stand and upper that fit next to the lathe. Transferred the stuff from both kennedys to the upper and had a bottom left over. sold the Kennedys and took my whole family to h
Harrison hot springs for a weekend and still had money left over. The tools still worked just as well
Life beats the alternative hands down.

I have a bunch of Kennedy products, I am very happy with all of them. Toolboxes and their toolboard system as well

I bought a bottom roll around, mechanics middle section and 7 drawer apprentice top box for $140 at an auction in 1997. I traded the 7 drawer and cash for an 11 drawer journeyman box a while back. They have been at 3 jobs now and still great . Probably worth a lot more than I paid. I still do some hands on work but probably 2-3 days a week I don't open the box at all now.
