That 10” thru bore would be sweet for some things, and a big pita for others.
If you have an extra three jaw, chuck it in the four jaw, dial it in and away you go for a lot more ease of use. I’ve had three chucks setup at once before when I needed to do small work and the only lathe available was a biggun. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

A problem with big lathes and small diameter parts getting the surface speed you need for a nice finish.
