Default US supplier for this?

Hi all. Any idea where I'd go to get something like these in the US:

Looking to install walkways for what'll eventually be a two-level library, but need something nicer looking than diamond plate or bar grate. I found those items above from a UK supplier, but the lead time is too long, and frankly the cost is crazy - they want nearly $1000 /sqft.

Appreciate any pointers.

Thanks, Shade and Whitetrash. I had seen King Metals before, and SSS is dang close. Somehow, though, neither really seems to carry anything a person could walk on.

I know it's out there, because I've seen it on balconies and fire escapes, but I'm just coming up dry so far. I sure don't want to have it hand-cast or anything...

Thanks for the recs.

Default custom made

digger has an idea

depending on your total sqr footage it may make sense to have your floor custom made.

It is likely that any retailer will not have it in stock and have it made to order anyway.

That's what I saw afraid of, that it might be a custom casting. For a new guy, total novice, any advice on a ballpark for how much I should be pay for something something like that? (It's two walkways, each about 2.4 ft x 13 ft, strong enough to support a person.)

I would talk to someone with a cnc plasma or water jet and with the right design and bracing I would think something out of 1/4" plate would do it.

Plasma is cheaper, walkway don't need the accuracy.

Depending on the artsy design, going to 1/2" plate might be needed.
Cost should not be too much more, over 1/2" then your talking oxy cutting, slower speeds, and much more material.

Is this for public usage ?

I have used perforated stainless sheet on boat decks.
One thing you cannot do is go barefoot on metal like that, your foots skin works down in the holes and cuts your skin.
Just sayin..
Maybe you don't care, maybe you never thought of that.
