Default Scott's storage shed

Got a start on his shed today. 10'x15'. Frame and 16" on center 2x8 floor trusses in. Skids in place. Cut a 30 degree angle on the twoing end of the trusses so it will slide easily. Squared the whole thing and put in a 1/2 pipe through drilled holes in the skids so he can move it around as time goes by. Using 1 1/2x1/8" angle iron to attach the skids to the floor trusses with 1/4"x1 1/2" lag bolts. Have several more pieces to cut and drill. End of the day today.

Tomorrow OSB on the floors, then framing the walls.

Chris are you building this onsite on your son's property?

In my place. Have all the tools here. The floor and walls will be taken to his place and assembled there.

Hey, I did knock off an hour early today. Plenty of breaks during the day.

I wondered if that might be the case.

One end wall with window done. Next a 8x15 wall. Hauled 20 sheets of OSB from over at Bubba's place where it was stored to sheet the walls. Son running his air nailer.

Got the 15' wall done. Had some serious warps to deal with. Kind slowed us down some. Tomorrow the other 15' wall with a door and two windows.

Got an early start, but only lasted an hour as the winds really picked up. 30 steady and 40 mph gusts.
