Default Frank The Chinaman

Welp, today I broke down and bought a dozen QCTP AXA Tool holder blocks, from Frank the Chinaman, AKA, Frank at CDCO. He had never let me down before, I’m sure he won’t now.

I made a mistake to actually talk to Frank on the phone, by time I was done, even I was confused on what I exactly ordered. He seems like nice guy, wanting to help, but I found the website is the best way to do business.

With various lathe cutting tools, threading, cut-off, grooving, boring and a few other misc tools, were in the 90-100 range.

You would have thunk.....That the Gnap (as in GREAT !) would have started
a breeding program long ago, thereby cutting out the manuf, as well as the middle man (AKA "Frank")

Welp, I’m late at this, but as usual, Frank came through, the blocks arrived on schedule. They each were packed in a sealed plastic bag, covered with copious amounts of some kind of light smelly oil, after a cleaning and the mandatory change out of the set screws (I use a 8 mm x 1.25 mm x 20 mm square head, full dog point set screw), they are ready.

Of the 12 blocks, 4 were opened up to hold a 3/4” tool, 4 were opened up to hold a 5/8” a tool and 4 were left in their original 1/2” capacity. The guy picked up his set up for the 3/4” tooling and I made a bit holder/boring bar holder out of one of the 5/8” blocks And the rest are waiting for the next order from BangGood.
