He already has a place down there and visits on a regular basis but he wants to make it permanent. His plan is to take only a handful of tools with him and do essentially nothing for the rest of his life. I asked him what he wanted to do to ward off boredom and he replied quite forcefully that he wanted to be bored--sit on the beach, drink beer and contemplate life.
Probably should start a new thread in a different category but since it occurred to me here from the above. : I have a problem that sort of fits.
It only took me one year after retirement to want to find something to do which I did. For the last twenty years it's been good. Now along comes a new (and worthless) teacher I can't live with so am about to "pull the plug" on it and THEN what will I do ??? :-) I don't think moving to Belize will work. :-)

It will either get used or sold when the time comes. Good, small lathes are few and far between around here so selling it won't be a problem
At times, I wish I could find a buyer for my machines that would wait until I was done with them to take possession....
