I have. It reads around 30volts. I just didn’t know if that’s really what it should have.

Have you checked the items GWIZ posted previous?

Check those and let us know.

I have a screen shot of the troubleshooting guide. It gives suggestions to you problem.

Sometimes not checking before digging around makes for more fun finding your issue.

Checking voltage between welding leads with no welding going on you need to know what the OCV or Open Connection Voltage is supposed to be. This is a safety built into newer welding machines to lower this. Not sure if this machine has that.

We can help check the other items if need be based on performing the test asked about.

Ok, So my grandpa and I checked pretty much everything on the welder. the one thing that came up as bad is the AC-Z OR what i think they are calling the reactor or it could be the stabilizer.

I have a picture from a different welder but it has something similar to mine. in the picture it would the the block at the bottom of the welder with a bunch of yellow tape with wires running out of it.

Checked every thing BUT what I asked you too.

Maybe but the odds of AC-Z being bad is slim to none.

The AC-Z did not look in the best shape. Here is a list of things we checked.

1. Fuses
2. SR 2 & SR 3
3. DC-Z
4. Capacitor
5. R2
6. CT 1
7. Cleaned all Connections
8. 120v & 240v winding
9 . Weld winding
10. PLG6
11. AC-Z

Ok GWIZ, I did a recheck on the resistance on AC. With Ohm’s on the lowest setting I get .0L

With Ohm’s on the highest which is 2000m
I get 001m.

The 120v and 240v work great.
