Default KoO-tracks

in the off topic section there is a topic where i spent $14,000.00 for the 10 minute ride. now i have to re-do or re-design these mattracks so i can get more then a 10 minute ride. in fear of law suits and such i'll now call them KoO-tracks.
i put the tracks on the way the manufactures say to and did everything the way they wanted them installed. went out on my winter road which has 12" of water on it but still smooth underneath. i drove a long really slow know that the back tracks flip because that is what happened to the previous owner of these tracks. his jeep got the damage not the tracks. i got the damage on the truck and on the track frame itself.
today i put the tracks in the little shop and ripped them apart. now you can see by the pictures there is no strength to them what so ever. now we begin to weld and make them so i can drive in the bush not dairy queen to see and be seen, lol.

$14,000? Holy shit.

But this should be fun.

the add on track game got won by the people with the best patent lawyers not the best manufacturer by far, The track kits of 20 or 30 years ago (before the patent battles) were far stronger and effective.

You would think with Joey's fame (and shear number of followers on the internet) that Mattracks would be right up there, providing a new set, and
taking notes of how to make them better.....

i sent mattracks a long email with pictures last night plus i also included the fact i cancelled the flim crew. the fellows from highway through hell were to come up but with all this snow ad wet-ness it would not have been good filming. now i'm beginning to think that this would have made good filming. 10 minute ride and a 30 minute walk out which was in 12" of water, up hill too.

more to come.

That particular version is for smaller vehicles up to 5,500 lbs (2,495 kg) GVW.

yes, the GEO truck weighs in at 4617lbs curb weight so the vehicle is ok. the GEO truck is to be used for the GEOs to drive to the drill, sit in the truck where it is warm and use the laptop at the drill. the truck will never carry any weight. when the tracks were on the 2013 jeep they did the same thing with the back one flipping up and damaging the jeep. the fellow was on the lake is snow when it happen. he drove home removed the tracks and 3 years later i purchased them.

thanks

It would look as though a stronger frame and something to limit the rotation of the frame would be in order.

i think beefing up the frames and putting the back ones on like the front will work. the front one never flip and they hit the unknown where as the back ones flipp and you have already hit the unknown.
