Default Tools - machete deal

Lowes is having a closeout sale, at least at some stores, on 18 inch Tramontina machetes with sheath. The were 19.98. Prices at my area stores varied from $7.39 to $11.00. I got a few for $7.60.

And Woot has a Mora hooked wood carving knife on sale for $10. Number 162.

I got a few more for $5. each. Going to start Pop's Machete Shop. I'll resell them from the back of my pickup truck.

I frequent the Bushcraftusa.com forum. They have a "Gear Deal" thread which is where I spotted the deal. It's cost me plenty. I bitch about it constantly.

Amazon occasionally has real deals on some Mora sheath knives, like $7.50 to $9.
