Recovery will be longer than you think. Get all healed before you get back at it.

Nice try Chris. Do you really think it's gonna happen? You and I both know Gerry too well... He might slow down a bit.....possibly.....maybe.

I know we're pickin' on you, Gerry, but do get well quick...

This actually hurts too much to not listen to my body. I do tend to work through an injury, I admit, but today I have to whip up the courage to grit my teeth and got to the kitchen for coffee.
Yesterday I was able to get everything done, and my knee was not hurting, back not too bad, but then someone kept turning up the volume and it kept getting louder and soon I was hobbling and couldn't bend my back. Good thing my wife isn't home.
Last night was a painful one but at 2 am I realized that there was some improvement.

Heal, my ass. I had another sleepless night and I am going to a chiropractor or massage this morning. This is too much fun.
My leg is ok and the back has to get fixed somehow.

Chiropractor will works wonders I bet. Might still hurt while it finishes healing, but at least the spline will be back in the place it is supposed to be, so the muscles aren’t fighting each other to get it there.

Last night I found a pian free spot and as long as I kept the position, I slept. Today, less pain and it was overcome with ambition.

I connected the power cable up today, and now the house is not running on a 50ft extension cord. I tested out the dryer, had to figure out how to drive it. All push buttons and stuff.
The ones I'm used to, you set temperature and time, pull out the knob and yer rockin'.

That's one mure step half done. Still have to fill and flag the trench.
