Default Harbor Freight Battery Jumper

My riding lawnmower needed a little help starting, today. So, I grabbed the small jump starting battery that I bought a few years ago. I was surprised to find the battery case had popped open about 3/4". I phoned customer service, and the clerk offered to give me 20% off on a new unit. He, also, told me it was, probably, okay to try to recharge it. I've had RC lithium bats for several years, and the recommendation is to not charge them. I didn't order a new one. These are really handy, but I might try another brand for the second go around.

I wouldn't put voltage to that! Well, maybe outside, all flammables away and with a power strip at the beginning of an extension cord to shut off power to it when it explodes!

It's just pregnant, you will have a lot of little triple A batteries soon.

Do you have any vehicles that could do with an insurance claim?

Pop it onto it, charge it and ring harbour freight a second time asking for your insurance payout.

Safe to charge it??

It's not safe to store it, take it outside and put a few rounds into it

If it were mine, I would not attempt to charge it.
