Thanks for all the help and links.
Most I have read already.
The key thing is the model which is E20RC, 20 being horsepower, and C being the single flywheel type, which is their latest design under Oilwell.The B was much older and is more highly sought after. Witte was bought years back by Oilwell and then Arrow bought Oilwell, so it is lost in the fog.
When I go to the local pumpjack and compressor shop, they make the sign of the cross when I say the words Oilwell or Witte. They had a less than informative book with a couple exploded views in it and nothing else. They contacted other suppliers and nada.
But I think I am on the right track now, and may have a pinion gear that works for the starter today.
