Officially these are 225x44, but actually measure 225x42

Snow?

Not really. The standard for agricultural buildings would be 6x3s on 6 foot centres. I'll have 9x2s on just over 2 foot centres. The worst snow here in a generation fell 2.5 years ago and it was only rotten 6x3s that failed so im confident the rafters are good enough

I'll measure deflection of the laminated beam when I'm done. If its sagged even close enough to getting straight (remember I arched it) then I'll put a third post in the middle.

Nearly a pity to have to cover it over.

The virtue is always a cover for the sin. That's the key to understanding the modern left. Whatever they're accusing you of doing, they are doing themselves but more enthusiastically. And that's definitely the story of Justin Trudeau. Tucker Carlson

Me too.

this is just for storage, but given the shop is so much for storage as is then I'm expecting to free up a nice bit of room. I'm considering some major enough changes inside.

Thinking about moving the sink outside, removing the shelves at the back wall, relocating the shelves/cabinets on the left wall and being able to drive a vehicle in to work on it in comfort.

I'm also having impure, rong fu shaped thoughts.
