The last knife I made was more than forty years ago. I thought it rather inventive of me at the time to use tapered leaf springs. I remember using body filler for the handle and using a rasp to create texture. I only dreamed about making something as nice as you have here.

I am more impressed by folks that can design a machine, or build something to amazingly tight tolerances than people who just make stuff look interesting.

Same for me.

I also have been called "gifted" or a "genius" but I argue that such a person would not have spent such an embarrassing amount of time to learn what I do and sacrifice so much in the process.
