Default How to forge Fancy Blacksmith Basket Handle (4 rod twist). #1

This was forged as a response form a fellow smith in regards to high count handles verses lower count handles..

I mentioned to him to not count out low basket count handles as not being valid.. I said a well done handle can be just as visually nice..

The video is out of sync (software glitch).. The software supplier is working on it, but with 40+hrs in editng done.. I figured I'd release it anyhow and the pre release screeners had no complaints.. I know I do..

I enjoyed that video, and I only saw one place where it was out of sync......wasn't any big deal.
Nice poker, I really should light the forge and have a try at that.

Was thinking about you the other day as I am curious as to how the bolster on a chisel was forged.

I admire the finish you achieve with your hammer work, seldom see that skill level on other smithing videos.

Many thanks for the work that it takes to post these.
