Got the gutters up. Bubba brought his tractor over with the man bucket. Much easier to do instead of off a ladder. Now to finish the down spout.

The shop is looking really good, Chris. Very nice and gutters are truly an enhancement worth the cost of time and money.

Sealed the gutter splices and got the downspout all secured. I will leak test it tomorrow or the next day after the seam sealer has cured.

If you are referring to the gutter spices pieces, I did not have a choice. That was the only color they had in stock. If you were referring to the walls, it also was a choice of white or forest green. The missus said no way on the green so white it was. It was hail damaged tin from roof replacements. The tin on the wall was free for me since I kept the previous tin when they put in a new roof on 3 buildings 2 years ago as well as the gutter. Re-purposing is the game.

Took the wood stove pipe out today, It was only 6" and the stove was built for 8". In process of patching the wall now. The new 8" pipe will go through the roof straight up from the wood stove.

It is 11-6" from the top of the stove to the ceiling. Now trying to decide if double wall or triple wall is needed to go through the roof. The roof is sheeted with OSB, with tin on top. Figured 4' above the roof should work OK. Any other suggestions??????

The chimney should extend at least 3 feet above the roof surface it penetrates and 2 feet higher than any roofline or other obstacle within a horizontal distance of 10 feet. Taller chimneys make more draft, but chimneys exposed to outside cold don't.
