Seeing as we are reviving this old thread,
I'll say I am happy as hell with my air extraction table. It is important to open he door or window before cutting, though, as the whole shop will be under vaccum and you hear air whisking under the door gasket.


Although not real necessary, I do keep the open areas of the table covered, as it helps the 1hp vanxial can for vaccum, but also keeps small items like tools or irreplaceable parts out of the scrap bin below...or out of the rusty sludge of a water table.

Since this thread is showing some life, again...

I've been wanting to make a video of the water bath plasma follower I came up with a couple years ago. I made a follower that attaches to a pantograph that "Rottenleonard" had posted plans for. No need to have a complete water bath under the whole plasma table... just a few inches of water in the bottom of a gallon can that runs around, under the torch, catching bb's and sparks.

Video to follow... hopefully.
