Default I bought a plasma cutter

Yep, I picked up a Hypertherm Powermax 350 today. Seems like a nice little machine, the seller hooked it up and let me test it out before I bought it.

I've used plasma cutters, but it's been a while. I've never owned one. Already downloaded the manual from Hypertherm, planning to put a small air filter on the machine. Any other tips, tricks, or advice?

I don't have a plasma cutter, search this site for plasma filters.
everyone has said you need a quality filter and maybe some water traps.
In other words the air should be extra dry.

I have a motor guard filter on my plasma and it does a great job of extending my consumable life.

I have a hypertherm max40, still works great. They have some of the best support for their tools ever. Make sure your air is dry and the consumables will last a long time.
