Quench in water right after welding he says.
If the bird shit welding doesn't fail immediately, the cracking from cooling it too fast will help the process along.

I guess these guys think that any infomation, bad or good, is still information that needs to be offered to the masses.

Clueless comes to mind as well. Lets go to Starbucks and think of another video we can make! Maybe something in HVAC that will need a pair of vicegrips.

Hiway I used my HVAC vicegrips just yesterday . I had to remove a nasty rusty screw to get a blower unit out so I could change the NASTY blower motor . Hmmmmmm I wonder why the motor failed could it be 3 pounds of funk stuck in the blower wheel blades coupled with another pound of funk firmly gripping the end of the motor itself not letting any cooling air into the motor .

How did those old timer sayings go now?

" A little knowledge can be a dangerous thing"
" You can't teach common sense"

Hang on! I, am nearly an old timer.

One thing about the internet is that you can be whatever expert you want. Look at me, I'm a rock star and can't play a dam thing.

I hear he is trying to decide what his next video will be - a NASCAR roll cage or a 6,000# trailer. "difficulty level- piece of cake"
