I try and stay away from Prentiss drills as much as possible--much prefer morse taper shanks. Sometimes you have no choice but to use them, though.

That's a heck of a deal for that set IF they're good drills but the price leads me to believe that they're just cheap Chinese stuff. Around here a brand name (Dormer or Nachi, for example) 3/4" or 13/16" drill will run around 30 bucks for a single drill so those are likely of much lesser quality...

Did someone mention cheap Chinese bits? This one came in a transmission shift kit.
