Default Last caulking gun I'll own.

I was attempting to install a windsheild in my Jeepster, and my POS caulking gun could not push the adhesive through the nozzle. I had the nozzle cut to deliver about a 1/4" diam. bead. I built this one using a 1/2" coupling nut and redi-rod. It easily pushes the same stuff out of a 1/8" uncut nozzle, and stop immediately when backed off.

I can't see the pics. But maybe it is the server here at work blocking them?

That looks interesting. I would like to see how you built the nozzle.

Charlie - I'm pretty sure the nozzle comes on the tube. Nice job NOBLING.

NOBLNG Excellent idea. Consider it stolen!! Gotta build me one. Charlie, I think the front is a washer. Allows the factory nozzle out just like a regular caulking gun does.

The front and rear are 3/16" thick washers that I cut with my plasma. Sides are 1/8"x3/4" flat bar. There is a 3/16" thick slug that gets dropped into the tube before loading it. It has another washer tacked to it to keep the redi rod centered. Put a little anti-seize in the coupling nut for smooth operation.

I sincerely hope it's also the last time you embed pictures here.

Please read the first item in our FAQ.
I wrote it especially for you.

Actually, I think I probably screwed up & attached only the thumbs of the numbers 2-4.
You might want to replace them via edit/go advanced/manage attachments.
