Hey Jack,
Another superb source of information that I find indispensable is a "little black book" titled "Pocket Reference" by Thomas J. Glover. Fits in your shirt pocket, tool box or glove box and provides a massive amount of information regarding machining, welding & metal work and every conceivable table of measurements & data. Very handy & I found them on Amazon.com for less than $6. Might give it a try if you constantly need conversion info. & measurement data.... Denny
