That is some very nice work. I feel like they would go very well at the auction.

I hate cancer! I've had to fight it myself.

I'm sending my prayers and best wishes.

I'm sorry to hear that. My heart breaks when the little ones have that. I'll inquire tomorrow as to what kind of aid they need.

Thanks for the thoughts and the compliments. The ribbons just lay over the cross no welding. That way you can buy just what you want a cross, a ribbon or both. I think the ribbons will out sell the crosses as they can be a wall hanging or otherwise.

I like the idea of using the ribbon in the windchime!

My buddy Don makes these plant hangers. He made me a deal on a batch of them for the auction.

I tried to get a decent close up of the twist on the single hook and I don't think I *quite* captured it.

I sure hope this plunder sells.

Well it was a good day. Hotter than hell and muggy with pop up showers.

We went up early to drop off the items at 10:30 and they were already cooking fish for the catfish dinner. Volunteers were buzzing about and there were two gooseneck trailers FULL of items donated to the cause. Total there was about 40 people. I had a job to finish up so we chatted and came back to the house until time for lunch. I got cleaned up and went back at noon and there must have been 200 people there. It took 45 minutes in line to get food but it was well worth the wait.

All said and done there were over 600 catfish dinners sold in a town of 400. They cooked 400 lbs of fish, ran out, got 80 more pounds and ran out again. I couldn't stay for much of the auction but items were going for good prices. When I drove by at 5:30 they were just finishing up the auction that started at 2.
