Very nice Vernon. Something to be real proud of.

Vernon, very high quality work, and I am interested in the rollers as someday I want a 6" belt grinder.
How does it do eating metal? I bet it goes like stink.

That belongs in a museum, not a shop.

Gerry,
The 6" belt doesn't eat more metal than say a 2" belt but what it does do is sand a large area all at one time. If you decide to build one I can tell you some things I would change on mines.

Default belt sander

Very impressive. I know the work involved in making one--but I now know how useful they are in the shop.
Great job!

Congratulations, Vernon.
That was quite an undertaking the way you did it and it's gorgeous.
