Question Schools: Lincoln v. Hobart

Opinions please and I'm sure this will spark some interest. Which school do you think is better Lincoln and it's associated NASCAR school or the Hobart school with it's comprehensive programs?

Aww man! I mean, where is Joey when we really need him??? He could have asked his dad.

In other words I don't have any idea, Grumpy but this could spark some interesting discussion.

I believe Arcdawg went to the Lincoln school, so he can probably tell you what he thought of that one.
If I were considering attending either, I'd be wanting to do some kind of pre enrollment touring and talking to people about what is offered.

Cutter's right though, Joey would have all the information, cause Joey knows everything.

Default never been to hobart bros

i attended two 40 hour motor sports classes at lincoln....these guys do not mess around !!

it is boot camp for tig welders......or guys that want to become tig welders.
the basic class is very useful for rookies or guys that have been welding for 10 years.

however i was a little let down when i saw the shop.... in the brochure they would lead you to believe that you are going to be in a STATE OF THE ART SHOP WORKING ON RACE CARS.......... well it was a LITTLE differant then that......old ass shop and no race cars.

but they do have a room chiz filled with race car parts and all new tig machines..... ie p.t. 275/375 and a bunch of inverters

my teacher was good but i liked the advanced class instructor better.....

the basic class they load you down with books and take you out to dinner twice, plant tour....... which i highly recomend to go on !!

the advanced class is more like GET IN YO BOOF AND WELD ! but very informative

i have been tigging for 5 years now and have 1100 hours under my belt from the state voc i went to but those 80 hours at linconln made me a tigging MO FO.........

LINCOLN ISNT CHEAP cost me about 3000.00 all said and done....hotel and airfair food and stip joints

but i came out of there with two certs and i got my chrome moly cert out there too.........

and cleveland is a great city.........

the motor sports course was started by joe gibbs (nascar owner)

anwser your question ?
