I put in a few miles to get his unit,,Drove my little car, and trailer, so not a huge expense. It was up by Seattle.. $1000.00 with long thick leads, and cart. 3 hours on it.. It needed 1/2 hour of work to get that carb clean..It has 460 3 phase output and 230 single phase too..Just like the $9000 Bobcat with 3 phase..(no leads or cart) Honda 20 hp.. Traded of my MQ 6000 genny for $1000 dollars Labor on my house, so really will work out even better,

This machine was the guys Grandpas home power unit, but was too loud for his Neighbors . So it just sat in his garage.. People were trying to beat him down on his price, what a bunch of Morons. If it was $2 they would of tried to get it for $1.00 What happened is they got jack instead..

Reminds me of when I would go out car buying with a dealer friend of mine. ALL the vultures would have previously offered $100 for a $500 car needing work (back then) and he would offer $200 and get it. Then spend another $200 and then sell the car for $2000.

But you are right on about people low-balling just to low-ball. I don't know much about TA gen/welders but a dogged-out Bobcat with 1000hrs will still fetch well over $2000 around here...

Looks like the 130 ft of 4/0 (New) welding cable, and Tweco ends/Dinse adapters/Stinger, and ground clamp comes up over the $1000 mark too..

Some people are really hard to read by their ads /etc.. You have to work your way through these things, and go by a sixth sense almost..I do get the no contact thing,but it's a hunch.. Could be in the stock market with no chance at winning at all. (Rigged)

To tell you the truth, I learned a lot from the Greatest Generation .. They had a lot to teach up about most everything under the sun.. (If you listened to what they were saying) I think there are many lessons that are going to be played out again..

I picked up the ShopSmith the same way, it was too cheap. But the address
was literally around the corner from me. Nice guy just making room. I was
going to flip it but gave it to Shade Jr. (Robbie) instead. He should make good
use of it in FL.

Not quite done, The 460 3 phase opens some options The Plasma was a diamond in the rough. Works great, and is a very low use machine . Pretty much full output of 60 amps, I am at 4000 ft, and the genny looses a bit of juice. Still better than my Lincoln 305 g, and Esab 1125 70 amp machine at sea-level.. The 1125 was the big brother to this machine but on a engine drive the 875 works better with the 11 amp of of 460 3 phase
