Lost the one special bolt for the swimg arm bushing so that's the first thing.

Starter relay....its missing

Ignition switch...its broken

Banjo bolt to hook brake hose to master cylinder...missing

Ignition coil/plug wire. Need a new plug wire. Boot is cracked where it fits on the plug.

Choke lever assembly. Missing the screw to hold it on and a spring.

Seals for swing arm bushings.

Dust covers for bushings.

Bolt to mount shock to swing arm.

As of now I've got $200 invested including purchase.

Wot ya doing ordering special bolts?

You have just taken delivery of a lathe. The only thing you might be missing is a bit of bar stock.

The way it’s supposed to work is use ‘boy toy’ number one to build / improve ‘boy toy’ number two and so it goes on.....

The only problem is having enough hours in the days to do all this stuff.

Got it back together. Need to replace the brake cables.

Runs fair but will not idle. What should I check?

Been sitting a long time? Carb clean and clean the pilot jet/passages/fuel screw. Set the screw @ 3 turns out to start. Why won't it idle:

• Carb plugged/old fuel/contaminated fuel/rusty fuel tank
• Air leak between the carb and the engine/usually @ the rubber manifold
• Valve clearance is too tight, usually the intakes
• Compression is low
• Cylinder leakdown is excessive
• Cam timing is off (see compression)
• Venting to carburetor
• Erratic spark/spark plug cap/plug wire/corroded wiring/battery terminals/spark plug
