I have a Delta portable 12.5" portable planer as well, I have dug that out as
well. New blades for it, they are "disposable." Cleaned it up good, had a few small spots of rust cleaned up with a scotch brite pad. Oiled where it needed oil. Waxed the table, and the infeed and outfeed tables and planed a couple of boards. Worked like a charm. Since it was not any major work it is not worth its own thread. Model 22-560. Update on the Jointer: Still waiting on the parts from RepairToolparts.com. Good website, ordered the bearings and some knife screws last Monday, got an email last Tuesday with a Fedex tracking number. Fedex says there is a label but they have not received the package yet, still as of today... They will be getting a phone call from me tomorrow. ![]()

order. But not having the bearing is holding up the assembly so. Amazon Prime to the rescue. I will have both bearing Timkens, on Thursday I can get the whole thing assembled and moved around instead of in pieces laying around the shop.

I've been having problems with them on occasion, as well.
Do not get "SmartPost" delivery. Items travel via FedEx, but then they deliver those items on a pallet(s) to the P.O. for delivery by mail carriers. It can take a couple days depending on the P.O. before they sort the pallet contents. If you have an agreeable postmaster, they can pick through the pallet for your items if you are in a pinch but don't quote me on that... Keep in mind FedEx uses "franchisees" (contractors?) for Home and Ground delivery routes (I'm pretty sure). Some are good, some are not--depends on the owner. Drivers are hired just like an employee of the franchise. Skimping there leads to other issues with customer service... ![]()

So I got all the parts I needed in, but have not had time to get back to this,
maybe tonight. Still have some parts on order but actually they are extra blade screws for spares, they are a custom screw so while I can still get them, I thought I should have a few extras.

Here is an update, still waiting on a replacement switch, I damaged the
original one taking it off so I bought a new one that should be OEM equal. I did consider just putting a HD light switch on it but I decided to keep the OEM look. So here are a few pictures.
