Mobile home axles are pretty stout. I got one I use to move big stuff around. Right now it’s under a 20ft conex. If I’m not mistaken the tires are 14 ply rated.

Over pressure cheap tires while exceeding weight recommendations. Use metal valves to prevent failure of valve.

The 14.5” tire size the mobile homes use is used on some old low boy trailers. It’s possible the valve stem set up for these HD rims and the MH crowd happened to start using them.
