Using Local Ventilation to Protect your Welders
We’ve heard about the health effects of hexavalent chromium from welding on stainless steel. Many of us have even felt the effects of overexposure to zinc oxide fumes from welding galvanized steel, commonly called metal fume fever. But what is the best way to prevent these health effects? Respiratory protection is often the first thought. However, engineering controls, such as adequate ventilation, can prevent the need to wear yet another piece of protective gear while welding.... Read More Let’s take a step back and look at common types of ventilation used in the workplace. Dilution ventilation is the use of clean air to decrease the concentration of a contaminant of concern. This is commonly achieved by using a ventilation system to supply fresh air into a space. Dilution ventilation can work well for operations where the contaminant of concern has a relatively low toxicity level and is released over a large area. The use of large roof fans in a warehouse to dilute carbon monoxide released from a forklift is a good example. |

With a user name like that, its hard to be "low key" while spamming, no ? Im seeing that as a little brazen. No pun intended. Or is that brazing ?

What a sad waste of desirable domain name.
Herewith, some constructive criticism: Instead of filling it with tasty content (and making MORE MONEY short AND long term by creating a useful resource), it is packed with pretty adverts and shit else to the point that it's "self Spamming"! Everything seems to direct to an attempt to sell stuff. Weldors tend to have pretty good Bullshit Detectors... Now go back and READ for comprehension a variety of sites including Rigzone and Rig Welder Forums, and remake weld.com into a COMBINED individual, corporate, and small business site thats some fucking use. That niche has not been filled and would be a good, profitable use of the domain name. Piss on "mandatory registration". It drives off eyeballs which you want to SEE your content thus creating repeat page hits. Your web designer made a pretty front end. Ensure internal content is readable, like THIS site or Slashdot.org. I say this in full confidence you are too obtuse to understand any of it. |

Spam Sculpture..!!!
and now for something not quite completely different...
this is dedicated to folks who really do have too much time on their hands... http://images.search.yahoo.com/searc...01&fr2=piv-web Not to be snotty BUT when I learned the language.... Welder described the "Welding Machine" Weldor described the person operating that machine...

Sorry Madam
It just lit my damn fuse... weld.com is supposed to be about welding education and they can't even get the terminology right.... I am pretty impressed... We have gotten to the sad point where foreign exchange students understand and use English perfectly While native born and educated American English speakers... can only grunt gangsta-afro-slang and text crypto-phonetic shorthand on a touchpad.... they will be guaranteed great positions and financial success with those skills.... my aching.... they will.... just too bad... boy is this country in deep shit.... nobody seems to give a buffalo chip... while the rest of the world is laughing.. and we see these tv ads urging us to pay the teachers more money to help elevate student Math, Science and English test scores from lasteenth place.... I know what they should do with those teachers... and it ain't given em a raise... YOU know we are in trouble when the Spell-Check inserts an Apostrophe into the slang contraction "AIN'T"......

Indiana in 2013-2014 school year will institute payment to schools for the Technical Honors diploma. I did not realize until this year, our school received $900.00 for each Academic Honors diploma. Now both diplomas will be paid equally. (no I do not know where the money goes or how it is used, yet) Also with my welding class being dual credit, my students can actually positively influence our school's letter grade. About time my vocational students are acknowledged for their hard work!
