How big do you want to shear? Just buy a die set and add 2 shear blades but you will be limited to the width of the die set. Start with one of these...Bob

Ray, I have no positive help but I think it might be a good idea to read this thread.

The business part of this http://www.medfordtools.com/metalpro.htmls iron worker used to be available separately from Northern Hydraulics to be used in a shop press. I don't know if they still sell it separately but we have one at work and it's not a bad little machine. If I ever get the time I'd like to reverse engineer one for my shop.

I think you missed the target on your link, Mac.
Did you mean the ironworker page?

Thanks Cutter, I guess I had too many windows open. This http://www.medfordtools.com/metalpro.html is actually the page I wanted a link to.

Look for a Beverly shear. Your not limited in length and you can shear in radius. http://www.lowbucktools.com/beverly.html I have a b-2 beverly and it works great.

For sheet metal HF has some of these. http://www.harborfreight.com/30-inch...roll-5907.html I have never used them, can't say anything about the quality or anything, just remembered seeing them.
