I'm not sure where you're going with this.

How ya gonna support the load The axles are under the floor crossmembers

You going to move the side channels in to form a "frame"?

I am sure you are aware of this but I'm going to throw it out there for those that aren't aware of galvanic corrosion. Don't forget to put a dielectric layer between the steel and aluminum, a piece of plastic would be good.

Yes i am well aware of galvanic corrosion I work offshore.
I am putting a thin layer of HDPE between Steel and Aluminum as well as the bolts

Looking pretty good so far. Wish I had a deck like that to work with.
