Really like your videos. This seems to me to be similar technique to what you used when you made the small frying pan.

Entirely aside, are you still working on your book?

Many Thanks for posting your videos.

The concept is very much the same as the pan making. Great observation Wayne.

Only real difference is you need something to hold the end of the bar (using a hardie in the video) vs the pan holding it's own edges so it won't straighten..

The book, wow.. I haven't even given it a thought.. It's not that I am a procrastinator.. I'd like to think it's because of value.. Where would I rather spend my time..

The farrier business has been booming along.. My work load now is 4X what it was 3 years ago and now that people are finally getting dialed in I can only see more growth in the business..

The Blacksmithing stuff for me now is more of a fun thing but not even sure how much longer I will produce anymore videos.. Not that it's a competition, but I really can't compete with the other big names on youtube and there are just so many videos that cover so many of the basic aspects.. ( I have a very boring persona though I do interesting things and don't like to be on camera or video and very boring to interview..)

I have been trying to find skills in my memory which are not being shared or forgotten and bringing this to light..

I might produce a few more on hinge making and maybe thumblatch and maybe a full sized frying pan but...

Anyhow, I'm uncertain about the book.. It would be a huge time commitment and I'm not really sure how well sales would be.. It would be a huge 300page affair..

I've come to the conclusion that what society wants and what I want are 2 different things..

Since you brought it up though, I will give it more thought and pray on it..

Thanks for always commenting and adding to the threads.. Greatly appreciated..

Thanks Jennifer. I would not have thought you would bend the easy way first to end up the hard way!

Very cool video, Jennifer.
Nice discussion in the comments, too.

It's kind of crazy that way... I discovered it while doing sheet metal work for a friend of mine who had now metal working experience.. he needed like 30 pieces of 1/2" wide pieces of 18Gauge with radius.. I was busy at the time so bent a few in the vise an told him to flatten them back out and boom there was a radius.. You can do complete circles this way though it does take doing a few to get it smooth..

Your videos are becoming very good to watch. I had never gave it much thought about subscribing/liking, but I did now. Always learn from your work.

Thanks.. That means a lot since you guys were some of the early Jennifer adopters..

Home, sweet home..

Thanks for subscribing.. The video format I chose with them being a strictly teaching type thing is not as popular as people narrating or showing it in person..

I'd actually have to hire a camera crew in such a case..

Thanks again Chris.. I do appreciate the feedback and subscribing..
