If you make rockers you might turn a profit by using CNC to produce an improved design. I don't know how much interest there would be.

Airhead BMWs are pleasant to deal with and fit tall people well. They were the most reliable motorcycle for many years owing to their design and quality. The ignition, alternator and starter layout helped considerably.

I don't particularly care for Oilheads after working on one. The simplicity of the Airhead is gone with no functional advantage over modern Japanese tourers. IMO there are two kinds of German engineering, the old spartan, efficient sort and the modern overly complex and somewhat idiosyncratic sort.

I'd run good cylinder head guards to protect those Krausers, and guards are a good place for highway pegs.
