You did quite well. a little clean-up and oil in the blower you will be in good shape (and make a new spring for the post vice). Good deal for you. Arm & Hammer is a high quality anvil.

Without doubt, you got an awesome deal!

Arm & Hammer anvils are considered to be among the best, and you're right that it has a wrought iron base with a tool steel top forge welded on. If the top face and edges are in good shape, I'd think that it would sell on eBay for darn near the $200 you paid for the whole lot!

Around here I'd say $150-$200 for the anvil, $50 for the vise, $100 or so for the forge, and $50 or so for the extra blower. Yeah, you good a good deal. And good on you for giving the extra $50, it was certainly worth it and you'll sleep better for it!

Good luck with it, let us see it when you get it cleaned up and working!
