First off, welcome to the forum! I have no experience with this machine but years ago I had a 220volt ac/dc machine that would weld on ac but not the dc side. The problem was that it had two bad diodes, once they were replaced it would then weld on the dc side. Good luck I hope you find the issue and get it corrected!

Ive got a plate from a welder I scraped out that has what I believe to be diodes on it. Let me know if you want it.
